Mark Johnson

Outfitter

In his heart, a man plans his course, but the Lord establishes his steps." Proverbs 16:9.

Mark was camping at the White River one day when he saw a truck drive by with the letters C.T.O. on the side. What seemed as just a brief moment of being intrigued, in reality, was God "establishing his steps." A year later, the news had Mark pondering on the up-and-coming generation of young men. At that moment, he felt God leading him to take action instead of worrying. Remembering that C.T.O. truck rolling by, it became clear to Mark what God was asking him to do.

U.S. Navy Veteran Mark Johnson was born and raised in north-central Louisiana. He grew up hunting and fishing with his dad and two older brothers. Over the years, he has developed a love for fly fishing. However, nothing beats being in the Spring woods for turkey season.

Mark is a plumber by trade and a business owner for 28 years. Nevertheless, his true passion involves improving the outdoors and wildlife habitat. Family is of the utmost importance to Mark. Mark is happily married to his loving wife, Nikki. Together, they have raised four sons and two daughters. Recently, Mark has become the proud Papa to three grandsons and a granddaughter.

Thanks to his loving mother and father, Mark was raised in church all his life. Yet, his personal relationship with Christ did not emerge until adulthood. Mark experienced firsthand that nothing fulfills your life like a personal relationship with Christ. Therefore, he is making it his mission to help the upcoming generation of young men find their connection with God early in life. Mark could not be more proud to partner with C.T.O. to help preserve our hunting and Godly heritage!
