God planted me in the middle of a grand adventure! Born into a farming family with 1,000 acres on the banks of the Sacramento River in Northern California, from a young age I embraced the wild outdoors.

I could be found roaming the land, wielding a weapon, on the hunt, or simply at home in the tranquility of the woods. You could say that God caught my attention through His glorious creation.

As a young man I gave my heart to Jesus & he placed in me the purpose to guide men to break free & rise up to who they’re created to be. This calling has led my family & I on a captivating journey: from planting a church in Las Vegas, to holding an underground Bible study for those escaping a religious cult, to selling everything & moving to Central America to serve & love the locals… we’ve been a wild bunch.

A close friend introduced me to Cross Trail Outfitters. He said it was “right up my alley” & he could not have been more spot on. After my first experience I came home & told my beautiful bride, K.T., it felt “to good to be true.” With an enthusiastic “Go for it Dad” from my teenage daughters I followed the call to serve God through CTO.
