Passion to serve our Lord, that’s about as simple and easy as it gets.! My name is Gary Wiatrek and being able to serve the Lord and share His gospel is my true passion and purpose, a goal I strive for daily. I also absolutely love the outdoors and the ability to see and embrace God’s creation through time in the field or on the water. My beautiful, amazing wife Samantha shares the same love for the Lord and a passion for sharing with others what God has blessed us with. Through blessings, trials and tribulations God has shown us the importance of a relationship with Him and more importantly that we should spend time working so others may come to know the Love, Glory, Goodness and Peace found within a relationship and salvation through Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
Why CTO?
Our youth today faces an enormous amount of challenges, things that many adults never faced growing up, things that turn them away from God and what his word teaches us. We have a choice as a society and community to sit back and watch or take action, simply put Samantha and I have chosen to take action. CTO offers our youth the opportunity to spend time in Gods creation in a safe environment with likeminded peers to gain knowledge and strength through Christ. They get to gain knowledge and understanding around hunting, fishing, outdoor skills and most importantly self confidence to combat what the world teaches them. Prayerfully taking the message back to friends, family and the next generation to once again fulfill Gods commands (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our hope is that you would come along side of us “Guiding the next generation to Christ through the outdoors”.
My name Andrew Arellano. My wite Jennifer and I have been married for 20+ years and together we have two amazing children, Fredrick and Reese. I have a passion for hunting and fishing and that is how we were introduced to CTO, which has forever changed our lives. After sending our son Freddy to a CTO outing and hearing everything that happened that weekend, I was eager to learn more about CTO. That same year I volunteered at the 2020 Saltwater Summer Fishing Camp in Matagorda. That week had opened my eyes to what I had been praying for. The Lord filled and touched my heart, and I knew then I wanted to live a life of purpose through Christ. The following year I was saved and accepted Christ into my heart. My son, daughter, and wife have accepted Christ, and my son and wife have been baptized. We continue to fall and rise, but our faith continues to grow. We are blessed! As a song states, "You gave up everything for me to have everything for all eternity". What a small ask to serve. What an amazing God!
