Wilson County
Cross Trail Outfitters Wilson County Chapter is dedicated to guiding the next generation to Christ through the outdoors. Led by Gary Wiatrek, the Wilson County Chapter provides boys with year-round opportunities for hunting and fishing adventures, hands-on outdoor skills training, and Christ-centered mentorship. Through these experiences, young men grow in character, leadership, and faith, all while forming lifelong friendships and learning the value of stewardship and brotherhood. The Wilson County Chapter is committed to preserving our outdoor heritage and equipping boys to become strong, Christ-centered leaders for their families and communities.
Gary Wiatrek
Passion to serve our Lord, that’s about as simple and easy as it gets.! My name is Gary Wiatrek and being able to serve the Lord and share His gospel is my true passion and purpose, a goal I strive for daily. I also absolutely love the outdoors and the ability to see and embrace God’s creation through time in the field or on the water. My beautiful, amazing wife Samantha shares the same love for the Lord and a passion for sharing with others what God has blessed us with. Through blessings, trials and tribulations God has shown us the importance of a relationship with Him and more importantly that we should spend time working so others may come to know the Love, Glory, Goodness and Peace found within a relationship and salvation through Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
Why CTO?
Our youth today faces an enormous amount of challenges, things that many adults never faced growing up, things that turn them away from God and what his word teaches us. We have a choice as a society and community to sit back and watch or take action, simply put Samantha and I have chosen to take action. CTO offers our youth the opportunity to spend time in Gods creation in a safe environment with likeminded peers to gain knowledge and strength through Christ. They get to gain knowledge and understanding around hunting, fishing, outdoor skills and most importantly self confidence to combat what the world teaches them. Prayerfully taking the message back to friends, family and the next generation to once again fulfill Gods commands (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our hope is that you would come along side of us “Guiding the next generation to Christ through the outdoors”.
