Foothills
Cross Trail Outfitters Foothills Chapter is dedicated to guiding the next generation to Christ through the outdoors. Led by Chip Camp, the Foothills Chapter provides boys with year-round opportunities for hunting and fishing adventures, hands-on outdoor skills training, and Christ-centered mentorship. Through these experiences, young men grow in character, leadership, and faith, all while forming lifelong friendships and learning the value of stewardship and brotherhood. The Foothills Chapter is committed to preserving our outdoor heritage and equipping boys to become strong, Christ-centered leaders for their families and communities.
Chip Camp
Chip Camp was born and raised in the Foothills of the North Carolina mountains. He developed his love for the outdoors while fishing the banks of the Catawba and Broad Rivers with his grandfather W.H. Champion.
Chip's love for the outdoors has led him all over the country in pursuit of big game animals and trophy fish. Chip has a love for bear hunting and is "at home" in a cold duck blind or a wild mountain trout stream. Most of all Chip is passionate about sharing his love for Jesus with the many young people that he encounters.
