Indiana
Cross Trail Outfitters Indiana is dedicated to guiding the next generation to Christ through the outdoors. Led by Jason Thomas, CTO Indiana provides boys with year-round mentorship, hunting and fishing adventures, summer camps, and hands-on outdoor skills training. Through these experiences, young men develop character, leadership, and a deeper faith, all while building lasting friendships and learning from dedicated mentors. CTO Indiana is committed to preserving the outdoor heritage and equipping the next generation to be strong, Christ-centered leaders.
Leadership
Jason Thomas
Jason and Cathy have been married for 39 years and have been blessed with three children and five grandchildren.
After Jason retired from United Parcel Service (UPS) following 31 years of service, he and Cathy were looking forward to enjoying their part-time eBay business and spending more time with their grandchildren.
As they planned for life after 62, they dreamed of traveling around the country and enjoying the RV lifestyle. But as Jason explains, "God had other plans."
After some nudging from God—and what Jason describes as feeling like being hit with a two-by-four—he finally answered the call to start a ministry that would introduce kids to Christ through the great outdoors. That's when he discovered Cross Trail Outfitters (CTO).
Through the generosity and support of their local church, Sugar Grove Church of God, along with dedicated volunteers from the Churubusco area, a new chapter began.
Welcome to CTO Busco!
We proudly serve youth across a four-county area in northeast Indiana, using the outdoors to build relationships, teach valuable life skills, and, most importantly, share the love of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is simple:
"Building Men, Preserving Our Heritage, and Sharing Our Faith."
